Our family loves the nigerian dwarf breed for their small size (Does can be no taller than 22.5" and Bucks no taller than 23.5") which makes them an excellent addition for the small farm. A good quality nigerian dwarf can produce a lot of milk for their small size! A Nigerian Dwarf's milk has a higher butterfat content than most standard goats, which means their milk is excellent for making cheese, butter, milk soaps, and lotions! Nigerians are an excellent breed for children and in general have a very good temperament. These small goats are very hardy and adapt quickly to many environments. But what they lack in size, they more than make up for in personality!
